New 1176 Matrix Router Expanders May Require Firmware Upgrade
The AVAtrix Firmware version 2.5 is now available on the downloads page. If you are adding a new 1176 to an existing system, you should upgrade the firmware to v.2.5. To check the firmware version, reboot the AVAtrix and read the start-up screen. All 1176 Expanders having a serial number 11109 or higher can only function with firmware version 2.5 or higher.

For Users of Model 1172 Audio Interface:
In order to use the model 1172 Audio Interface with your AVAtrix, you must have firmware version 2.2 or newer.
